This research focuses on the strategic intersection between Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and
Sustainable Development (SD), two essential pillars in addressing global challenges such as climate change,
depletion of natural resources, and social inequalities. Through an innovative bibliometric analysis, it reveals
emerging trends, key players, and collaborative dynamics shaping this rapidly expanding field of study.
Drawing on data from the Scopus database (2019-2024) and the advanced capabilities of VOSviewer, this
study offers a visual mapping of citation networks, international collaborations and interdisciplinary themes. It
highlights major contributions, identifies emerging concepts and analyzes geographical disparities, while
tracking the evolution of the academic approach to these two converging concepts
The goal of this research is clear: to enrich understanding of the complex relationships between ethics,
governance, and sustainability and to offer a solid foundation for inspiring academic discussions and
practical solutions. By highlighting existing gaps and opportunities for future research, this study serves as an
essential resource for anyone interested in the future of responsible and sustainable practices.
