This article explores how the city of Tangier is perceived in terms of its economic and social dynamics. Based on a survey of local residents, visitors, and economic stakeholders, the research examines factors such as job opportunities, infrastructure quality, public services, and social cohesion that shape these perceptions. The findings reveal that while Tangier has significant economic potential, largely due to its strategic position as an international port and its expanding infrastructure, challenges related to social inequality and quality of life persist. Residents express strong demand for improvements in public services and living conditions, while visitors recognize the city's tourism appeal but highlight issues with urban management and infrastructure. This study offers recommendations to enhance Tangier’s attractiveness by optimizing its economic and social structures, and improving both social cohesion and the overall quality of life for its residents.
