LA PERCEPTION DE LA QUALITÉ DES SERVICES DE SANTÉ PAR LES PATIENTS DES HOPITAUX PUBLICS : ANALYSE BIBLIOMÉTRIQUE
Keywords:
Health Services, services quality, health service quality, Public Hospital, patient satisfactionAbstract
This research investigates how patients in public hospitals perceive the quality of healthcare services, which many analysts declare is one of the critical and complex issues in a modern health system. This study explores trends, gaps, and academic contributions from the last decade (2013–2023) and makes strategic recommendations to improve the quality of hospital services. 539 academic articles from Scopus database were selected and analyzed using the PRISMA method. The bibliometric software VOSviewer visualized publications by authors, institutions, countries, and keywords, also representing thematic clusters and the networks of scientific collaboration. The results show a focus on developed countries such as the United States, Australia, and China, suggesting geographic disparities and that less developed areas may have limited access to research resources. The identified common thematic clusters are hospital management, service quality, healthcare services, and patient satisfaction. However, one this global consensus helps underscore is the glaring gap of the under-represented developing world. Key recommendations from this study include promoting international collaboration, research continuity, and meet the specific needs of vulnerable populations.
