Morocco's integration into Africa is a complex process in which Moroccan state-owned companies have played an important role, accompanying or anticipating it. This paper presents the results of our exploratory study of the steering practices of Moroccan economic diplomacy. It examines the support provided by the State for the international development of these public companies and the extent to which this support can enhance the effectiveness of their contribution to Moroccan economic diplomacy, in particular to regional integration in Africa. We have formulated findings and proposals relating to three perspectives of state intervention, namely the strategic level, the operational level, and the evaluation and control dimension.
